About the opportunity

Join our team as a People & Culture Business Partner, where you'll play a key role in shaping workforce strategies and fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture. This role partners with leaders to deliver innovative people solutions that drive organisational success.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide expert advice on workforce planning, talent, reward, and employee lifecycle processes.
Diagnose business challenges using data and develop effective P&C strategies.
Lead and implement HR initiatives and projects across the organisation.
Coach leaders to enhance capability, build talent pipelines, and promote diversity and inclusion.
Support change management and ensure initiatives align with business strategy and values.
Partner with leaders on industrial relations, workforce engagement, and retention strategies.
Collaborate with P&C specialists to deliver integrated solutions and continuous improvement.


About you

You should have solid P&C business partnering experience and know how to turn data into insights that drive culture and performance. You're comfortable working in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, bringing strong stakeholder engagement and coaching skills to the table. With a good grasp of industrial relations and change management, you're committed to doing things the right way, promoting diversity, safety, and ethical practices every step of the way.

Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate:
Relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive knowledge of human resources management issues and relevant legislation, regulations, policies and systems and industry trends.
Experience working as a member of a project/program leadership team.
Partnering with leaders for increased organisation effectiveness (including assessment/diagnosis, contracting, action planning, evaluation and follow-up)
Experience in the delivery of operational P&C activities to business in several major categories: P&C policies and procedures, P&C systems and process, management of employee and industrial relations, talent management, learning, performance management and remuneration programs.
Experience working in a matrix organisation with solid and dotted line reporting relationships
