The opportunity

This role will suit an experienced HR professional to step into an elevated, site-based role. This position will act as the key People & Culture lead on site while closely supporting the Head of Human Resources.

As the People & Culture Business Partner, you will play an integral part in shaping and supporting the employee experience across a large manufacturing workforce. This is a hands-on, visible role suited to someone who enjoys being embedded in operations, coaching leaders, and driving engagement and capability uplift.

Key responsibilities
Act as the primary P&C contact for all people matters on site
Partner with operational and executive stakeholders to influence and uplift leadership capability
Lead core HR activities including performance management and investigations
Manage IR/ER matters, working within a unionised environment
Coordinate training, development and engagement initiatives, including survey follow-through
Support broader P&C projects
About you
A minimum of 3–5 years’ HR generalist experience within manufacturing, FMCG or a similar operational environment
Strong IR/ER capability, with experience in unionised settings
Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at both operational and senior levels
Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, hands-on role
Professional, resilient and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting people and culture outcomes
