The People & Capability team is transforming from traditional to a strategic, value-adding partner. You’ll join a small, supportive Australian team working closely with a tight-knit global HR group, contributing to company-wide culture, capability, and people initiatives.
About The Role
This is a broad, hands-on People & Capability Manager role supporting Australia and contributing to global projects. Your key focus will be rebuilding foundational HR (policies, compliance, performance, employee lifecycle), strengthening engagement and culture, and helping uplift leadership capability across the business. You’ll coach leaders, manage ER/IR issues, partner with operations teams, and act as the people expert in the regional leadership team. You’ll also collaborate with HR teams in the US, China, and Dubai on global programs like reward and recognition and leadership development. The role is hybrid, output-focused, and offers flexibility—including a potential four-day week for the right candidate.
About You
You bring energy, resilience, and initiative—you spot what needs doing and run with it. You’re a true generalist with experience across core HR functions and ideally have exposure to manufacturing or distribution environments. You’re adaptable and confident working at all levels, from the production floor to the CEO, shifting between admin, coaching, project delivery, and business partnering. You’re firm but fair, empathetic but not overly sympathetic, and comfortable managing sensitive people matters. You’ve likely sat in a management team before and can act as a trusted people advisor. Most importantly, you thrive in a “meaty,” varied role where you can build, influence, and make a meaningful impact.
