Are you an experienced HR leader passionate about driving a high-performance culture? Foot Locker is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner on a 10-month contract to join our team and make an impact.
Responsibilities
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to store and corporate leaders, delivering HR strategies that boost engagement, strengthen culture, and ensure compliance. This role combines strategic influence with hands-on execution across the employee lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Store and Corporate stakeholders, offering expert HR advice and tailored solutions as well as implementing people strategies that align with Foot Locker’s goals and values.
Lead organisational design and people initiatives
Oversee employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices.
Ensure compliance with and resolve issues related to HR and WHS regulations, legislation and organisation policy.
Partner with Talent Acquisition team on recruitment, workforce planning, and onboarding
Partner with key stakeholders to identify and embed Talent, Learning & Performance management practices.
Champion engagement, wellness, and diversity programs.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner, preferably in retails, hospitality or FMCG
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law; knowledge in New Zealand employment law would be a plus.
Excellent leadership, influencing and communication skills - particularly within matrix style organisations
Team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Capable of managing conflict and conflicting views
Experience in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, based on feedback, stakeholder engagement, trend analysis, etc.
Ability to operate at a commercially strategic level as well as at the transactional and operational level
A proactive, accountable, pragmatic and hands-on approach
