We’re looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join us for a 12-month parental leave contract during a period of meaningful organisational change.
The opportunity:
You’ll partner with the Head of Retail & Virtual Banking and other senior leaders across a portfolio that’s about to embark on significant transformation. With the groundwork already in place, you’ll join right as we move into delivery: shifting to a more digital customer experience, evolving our workforce design and implementing a value stream model.
It’s a hands-on, high-touch role where you’ll influence organisational change, coach leaders with varying levels of experience, and manage core people cyclical activities. You’ll also be the key conduit for people matters across the broader People & Culture division. Flexibility is built in, with hybrid work and options for part time (0.8 or 0.9 FTE).
What you’ll be doing:
- Partnering with senior leaders to shape people plans that support transformation and long-term workforce needs
- Leading and supporting organisational change, including restructures and workforce transitions
- Coaching and developing leaders to build capability and confidence\
- Delivering cyclical P&C activities including performance, remuneration and talent processes
- Managing a high volume of people matters across ER, WHS and wellbeing
- Using data and insights to guide decisions and highlight risks or trends
- Driving engagement initiatives and contributing to broader P&C projects and change programs
What you’ll bring:
- Broad P&C partnering experience with senior stakeholders and end-to-end delivery capability
- Experience leading organisational change and restructures
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and ER frameworks
- Confident coaching style, sound judgement and the ability to build trust quickly
- Experience managing complex people issues and case matters
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- High level of competence across MS365 and HRIS systems
- A relevant degree; financial services or regulated environment experience is beneficial
