This is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced HR leader to own the employee lifecycle, lead a significant payroll systems implementation, and partner closely with senior Finance and IT stakeholders as a HR Business Partner across a complex, multi-business platform.
The role
Reporting to the Platform HR Director, this role is accountable for platform-wide people services, processes and policies, as well as end-to-end HR business partnering for the Finance and IT functions (circa 60-70 employees and 10 people leaders). You will oversee key milestones in the employee lifecycle, drive continuous improvement and automation in Workday, and act as the key conduit between HR, payroll and IT to ensure smooth, compliant and efficient people operations.
A major focus over the coming year will be leading the implementation of a new payroll and time and attendance system, ensuring effective integration with Workday and minimal disruption to the business. You will also shape and deliver people plans for Finance and IT, spanning workforce planning, talent and succession, culture and leadership development and will contribute to broader platform initiatives that strengthen the employer brand and employee experience.
About You
You are an accomplished HR Generalist or HR Manager with experience across people operations, business partnering and project delivery, ideally within complex, product-based environments such as industrial, manufacturing or FMCG. You enjoy balancing detail and design, are confident working with HR systems and data, and are comfortable leading cross-functional projects where process, technology and people intersect.
You Bring
Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline, and experience as an HR analyst/generallist/manager in mid-large organisations.
Strong experience with HRIS (ideally Workday), solid Excel capability and a proven track record delivering key people initiatives with measurable outcomes.
Demonstrated success partnering with diverse white-collar employee groups and senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
Experience leading significant change, such as restructures or HR/Payroll systems implementations, and the ability to navigate complexity with confidence.
A “can do” mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while collaborating effectively across teams.
You are naturally curious about HR trends and technology, enjoy critiquing and improving current practices, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels. You are coachable, open to feedback and motivated to grow your career within a broad HR platform.
