Senior HR Business Partner Victoria

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner for a 12 month maternity leave cover to support our Victorian business. This role plays a pivotal part in partnering with leaders, driving people initiatives, and shaping a positive high performance culture across the Victorian region.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders in a fast paced and project driven environment where your judgement, relationship skills and HR expertise will make a genuine impact.

About The Role

The Senior HR Business Partner provides strategic and operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle for our Victorian sites and corporate teams. You will deliver the annual HR calendar, guide leaders through complex people matters, and ensure our workforce is supported, engaged and set up for success.

Key Responsibilities Include

Supporting leaders with coaching and guidance across performance, development, employee relations and engagement
Strengthening a values based, high performing culture aligned to business objectives
Overseeing key people processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews and development planning
Analysing workforce data to provide insights that inform decision making
Leading or contributing to organisational development initiatives and change programs
Ensuring compliance with policies, employment legislation and health and safety requirements
Delivering and supporting group wide HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What we are looking for

We are seeking a collaborative and influential HR professional who is confident working with leaders at all levels and can balance strategic thinking with hands on delivery.
To be successful, you will bring
Tertiary qualifications in HR, business or a related discipline or extensive relevant experience
Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor within a complex organisation
Strong understanding of employment law, contemporary HR practices and performance management
Exceptional communication and relationship building capability
A proactive mindset with the ability to problem solve, influence and navigate change
Experience in construction, engineering, professional services or other project driven environments is highly regarded
